I have installed the unit on a Windows computer and it runs without issue but I cannot get it to work on a Linux computer. Manually installing ASUS's driver in Linux fails with errors.Ī call to ASUS technical support results in them sending you a link to an on-line drivers package that is the same as that supplied on the CD.įurther discussions with ASUS result in them saying that techincal support has looked into the situation and the product works in Linux and that my unit is probably defective. The driver for Linux comes with a windows installer! I tried it in several different computers running those different versions of Mint and it wouldn't run in any of them.ĪSUS misrepresents the item stating on the packaging that it works in Linux.ĪSUS provides an installation CD with drivers for Windows, Mac and Linux. I just bought a brand new ASUS Wireless USB-N13(C) from a major vendor and it wont work in Linux Mint 19.3 or 20.2 ![]()
